Dr. Anil Jain Ji
Dr. Anil Jain was born in a middle class family of Uttar Pradesh. Brought up in a joint family with religious beliefs built in him a thought of loving, sharing and caring for people around him. He was a man of good conduct, But he never compromised with his studies. He was a brilliant student with a very sensitive heart towards mankind so he opted to become a doctor and serve his society. He got expertise in GI and laparoscopic surgery.
Student life and Student Politics
An extraordinary talented Dr. Jain completed his early school from Feerozabad and he achieved MBBS and MS degree from King George Medical College, Lucknow. An alert and conscious Dr.Jain fought for the right of students while he was studying in Medical College. He was a devoted and dedicated ‘Swayam Sevak’ of ‘Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh’ since his childhood, as he firmly believed in the philosophy of RSS. Later he became a member of Akhil Bhartiya Vdyarthi Parishad. In 1986-1987 he led a historical agitation for allocation of seats in medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh, which brought a valuable change in the medical education in the state of UP. The then Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi had to intervene and the Chief Minister constituted a committee to solve the problem and Dr. Anil Jain was made the member of that high profile committee.
An Excellent Surgeon
After successful completion of his medical education, like other doctors he didn’t move to any big city, but went to the remote forest area of Jharkhand with a mission to serve the people, who actually required help. He became ‘Pracharak’ of RSS and started to work among the tribal people, who were in much need of a good doctor. Here is a small description of his career as a doctor:
1990-1991 : Senior Consultant
1991-1993 : Surgeon Inchrge, Banvasi Kendra Hospital, Lohardagga (Jharkhand)
1993-1994 : Independent Laparoscopic Surgeon
1994-1996 : Senior Surgeon, Batra Hospital, New Delhi During his tenure he Started Laparoscopic Surgery in this hospital
1996-Till date : Senior Consultant Surgeon (Laparoscopic and GI Surgery Unit), Indraprasth Apollo Hospital
As medical practitioner, he has written several articles and papers on medical science and laparoscopic surgery, which was published in different periodicals. He also participated in several national and international seminars on surgery.
Political Career
During his student days Dr.Jain realized that for any social change Politics is an essential catalyst. He joined politics as an active member of Bhartiya Janata Party in 2001 for this very purpose. His political journey till date is as follows:
2001-2002 : All India Joint Convener, Doctor Cell, BJP
2002-2007 : All India Convener, Doctor Cell, BJP
2007-2013 : Member, National Executive, BJP

Achievements
• Dr. Anil Jain was given the responsibility of election in-charge of South Delhi Parliamentary Constituency in 2013 Delhi assembly elections. The party’s performance was the best among all parliamentary constituencies in Delhi. BJP won 7 out of 10 seats in this area and lost one seat of Sangam Vihar by nominal margin of just 770 votes. Apart from this Dr. Jain has the credit of organizing huge rallies of big leaders including Modi ji during these elections which was successfully anchored and arranged by him.
• From 2007 to 2010 he was co- in charge of Uttarakhand. During his tenure BJP won 3 assesmbly and 1 parliamentary seat in the by-elections. Besides these BJP did excellent in Local Bodies, Zila Panchayat and Co-operative elections.
• He was instrumental in the defection of General T P S Rawat from Congress to BJP during his tenure as Co-in charge of the party in Uttarakhand. General Rawat vacated his assembly seat for Mr. Khanduri, the then Chief Minister of the state. Later Gen. Rawat was given the party ticket for Parliamentary constituency, which was vacated by Mr. Khandoori.
• In 2005, Dr. Jain was given the responsibility as Coordinator of Jharkhand. He stayed there for three months and everything he could to unite rank and file of the party unit. Results reflected as BJP formed the government by winning the election.
• 2002-2003, He played active role in assembly election held in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
• He successfully organized National Executive annual meeting of Doctor Cell from 2002 to 2004 in which several central ministers and renowned doctors were participant.
• During his tenure as convener, he established 28 doctor cells in 32 different states.
• He organized silver jubilee of N M O in a grand manner which was an equally grand success
